As the evening light fell on the street in Kensington Market, this scene presented itself as a local resident was shopping amongst the colorful offerings at this ethnic Asian fruit market.

Native Canoe

Another one of Bill Reid’s carvings, this Haida canoe is one of many that Bill carved during his career. It features beautiful lines and engraved artwork on the bow. In addition to the beautiful lines and curves of this canoe, the rich color of the wood inspired this image.
